摘要(Abstract):
The Call of the Wild has been the most widely read American novel in the world,while the Wolf Totem has made a hit since its publication. This paper attempts to conduct text analysis on these two works about wolves from the perspective of Ecocriticism and make a parallel study between them according to the theory of Comparative Literature. By comparison, this thesis aims to find the similar and different points between the two works, trying to find a more reasonable answer to the question of human's relation with the nature.
